What time is the World Series tonight? TV schedule, channel to watch Astros vs. Braves Game 2
The Braves jumped out to a dominant 2-0 lead in the National League Championship Series, and they will want to do the same in the World Series. The sole difference between the NLCS and the regular season is that the first two games were played at home. As a result, Atlanta defeated the Astros 6-2 in Game 1 of their series in Houston, placing the home team in a precarious position as the possibility of playing three consecutive games in Atlanta looms following Game 2. When it came to Game 1, the Braves came out swinging early, scoring five runs in the opening three frames to take a commanding lead.
- Fried followed up his breakout 2020 season with an even better 2021 campaign in which he pitched to a 3.04 ERA over 165.2 innings of work with 158 strikeouts and a 1.087 WHIP while striking out 158 batters.
- He also allowed just two runs combined across 12 innings against the Brewers and Dodgers, while only allowing 11 hits, no walks, and 14 strikeouts in the two outings.
- Urquidy also had a productive season in 2021 for the Astros, finishing the season with a 3.62 earned run average in 107 innings — spanning 20 starts — while striking out 90 batters and walking only 19 in 20 innings.
- He just lasted 1.2 innings before the Red Sox tagged him for six runs — five of them earned — on five hits and two walks, ending his season.

How to watch the World Series
The Major League Baseball World Series will be shown live on Fox. If you don’t have cable, you may watch the World Series online by subscribing to any live TVstreaming service that offers the Fox network. During the regular season and postseason rounds, national Major League Baseball games are broadcast on a variety of networks, including MLB Network, ESPN, FS1, and TBS. To assist you in narrowing down your choices, we’ve produced a list of the finest streaming sites available for watching the World Series live.
Sling TV
During the regular season, Sling TV is one of the most affordable ways to watch the World Series and other Major League Baseball games. Sling Blue ($35/month) gives you access to Fox, FS1, and TBS, among other channels. You should acquire this package if all you want to do is watch World Series games on the internet. Please keep in mind, however, that Fox only broadcasts in certain cities through Sling TV. Check to see whether Fox is available in your area before committing to a subscription.
ESPN and TBS are available in real time with this choice. You can get both Sling Blue and Sling Orange for $50 a month if you combine both. MLB Network may also be added for an extra $15 per month by subscribing to Sling’s Sports Extra bundle.
DirecTV Stream
The Fox network is available on all of DirecTV Stream’s tiers. It’s also a terrific choice for watching regular-season Major League Baseball games because it provides different bundles that include MLB Network, TBS, FS1, and ESPN, among others. TheDirecTV Stream Choice package, which costs $85 per month and includes all five channels, is the most affordable option.
