How to Watch/Listen to LSU Baseball Super Regional Series Against Tennessee
The Tigers will take the field against a hostile Knoxville crowd on Saturday, with a trip to Omaha on the line. Last weekend, LSU accomplished something that had not been accomplished since the 1989 season of this great program: they won a regional on the road. In addition, starting on Saturday, this 2021 squad will have the opportunity to do something that has never been done before: win a super regional on the road. Normally, it is the Tigers that host a super regional in Alex Box Stadium, where 15,000 supporters are in attendance and supporting them on.
According to coach Paul Mainieri, “the game will be fought out on the field between the players and coaches, and that’s where the emphasis will be placed.” “The spectators will be a part of the environment, which will be thrilling, and it is for this reason that individuals choose to play and coach in the Southeastern Conference.
- After LSU was swept by Tennessee that weekend, he expressed his displeasure with the way the Tigers were treated by a few “nasty” supporters on the Off the Bench podcast.
- Mainieri expressed regret for his statements to the media on Friday and is well aware of the type of environment he and his teammates will be entering this weekend.
- There are some beautiful individuals in this place “Mainieri made the statement.
- I didn’t want to disparage anyone from this city or this state in particular.” There will almost certainly be a boisterous but unrelenting Tennessee contingent in attendance, while LSU is expected to be heavily represented as well.

UPDATED: How To Watch LSU Baseball For Free This Weekend Because ATT Sportsnet Southwest Is A Garbage Network Run By Garbage People
Cox Sports has announced that they will be broadcasting the three LSU games from this weekend’s Shriner’s Classic on Saturday and Sunday. They even released a nice trailer to promote it. All nine games of the series will be broadcast live and free on MLB.com, according to each team’s official website. When the direct connection becomes available, I’ll update this post with a link to it. “Texas is like a whole ‘nother nation,” says the author. When LSU Baseball travels to the west coast, it sure feels like it.
- When I taught you how to watch the Longhorn Network for free on a weekend last time, you didn’t have to worry about racking up a huge cable bill in order to watch what turned out to be a catastrophic road series in Austin.
- The tournament will feature games between teams from the SEC and Big XII conferences and will raise money for a good cause as well as showcase the best college baseball in the country.
- This means that in order to watch the Astros this weekend, you’ll need access to ATT Sportsnet Southwest, which is the team’s regional sports network in Texas.
- One thing has been constant, though, throughout it all.
- In 2014, the Astros terminated its television relationship with Fox Sports in order to create a joint venture with then-Comcast to launch a new television channel.
- That channel, which has previously gone bankrupt on one occasion, is still not available on any of Louisiana’s cable systems at any price, eight years after it was first broadcasted (stop for emphasis).
- However, everyone else in the state is completely out of luck.
As a result, you would expect that in this current magnificent age of OTT Streaming TV services, there would be lots of online alternatives, but alas, dear reader, the Garbage In, Garbage Out phenomenon has taken hold.
These three clubs (and, to a lesser extent, the Cubs, but let’s not go into that) are the only ones in all of baseball whose broadcasts are not available on most of the over-the-top (OTT) services available.
It would be amusing if it weren’t so incredibly dumb.
Almost as if it were an oversight or a fault, Fubo is the sole streaming provider that offers access to ATT Sportsnets programming.
However, they’ll be ideal for this weekend.
In the same way that we recommended utilizing PS Vue to receive Longhorn Network for free for a weekend in the past, you’ll need to remember to cancel your subscription after Sunday.
Fortunately, LSU supporters will not have to deal with the garbage that I have to deal with every spring.
I, on the other hand, feel he was mistaken.
Cox Sports’ weekend program guide presently does not include any of the games, despite the fact that they are set to broadcast college basketball at the same time as Saturday’s game. Is it possible that if you have Cox cable you will be lucky? See the most recent update
